One of the things that i learned from a flipine studio character is that wearing ripped socks on your arms while painting,is a great tip(brody). and i am saying that from experiance,oil and dry pastels can be really messy. it helps with watercolours too

@Webbrowser77SD if you are confused between gouache and watercolours,watercolours have less pigment hence more transparent,they are available in pans, tubes and liquids whereas gouache has more pigment hence fulfilling the working characteristics of both watercolours and acrylics. both of them give a matt finish and are watersoluble. acrylic-gouche is like gouche but waterproof,thus the addition of acrylic in the name
