Bertha is the head umpire for Griller Stadium. There, she holds a league record for umpiring 856 consecutive home games. During the winter, Bertha hits the ice as a hockey referee, where the Tastyville Cold Cuts are a crowd favorite. Being somewhat of a celebrity amongst sports fans, she can be spotted at many local events. Bertha has officiated numerous eating competitions, and is a dependable judge for the annual Tastyville Rib Cook-Off.

Appearance[]

Bertha has tanned skin, light green eyeliner, and café brown, short curly hair with a black baseball cap worn on top of it. The cap also has some white trims. She wears a dark gray and white striped referee t-shirt and gray pants and a black belt. She also wears gray shoes with light gray laces.

In games where she dresses up for Halloween, Bertha dresses up as a slasher movie villain. Her costume is inspired in the character of Jason Voorhees from the movie "Friday the 13th". She wears a long-sleeved olive green-brick red striped shirt with long sleeves and a brown collar, brown pants held by a black buckle belt, and a pair of black laced shoes with green laces and brown soles. She also wears white and brown baseball gloves, a hockey stick on her back, and a white mask with olive green and brick red triangles, and black holes and stripes.
