Cherry Mines are one of the three cherry baddies that debut in Papa Louie 3: When Sundaes Attack!. They are found underwater and are first encountered in Wintergreen Way. Unlike Cherry Bombs, the Cherry Mines do not actively seek the players. Rather, they follow an invisible path and only explode if the player swims into them. There is no way to kill them, as even the Swim Boost cannot defeat it without losing a life. The player must simply avoid it until the coast is clear; the sole exception to this is in the X-Zone with Xolo, as the stars from his X-Wand go in any direction, even through water.
