There are 6 types of ores that can be gathered to forge weapons in Jacksmith: Copper, Bronze, Iron, Steel, Gold, and Crystal. They can either be looted from battles or be purchased from Gander when he has stock. The player can salvage ores when they scrap an unwanted weapon.
Copper[]
Copper is the weakest ore in the game, as it has 15 
and 16 
. The player owns and can use an infinite amount of copper. There are two Epic Weapons made of copper.
Bronze[]
Bronze is the second-weakest ore in the game, as it has 20 and 22 . The player must spend 80 
in order to purchase 20 bronze ores from Gander. It is unlocked when Gander is unlocked at Rank 3. There are 13 Epic Weapons made of bronze.
Iron[]
Iron is the third-weakest ore in the game, as it has 25 and 28 . The player must spend 120 in order to purchase 20 iron ores from Gander at Rank 8. There are 17 Epic Weapons made of iron.
Steel[]
Steel is the third-strongest ore in the game, as it has 30 and 34 . The player must spend 160 in order to purchase 20 steel ores from Gander at Rank 13. There are 16 Epic Weapons made of steel.
Gold[]
Gold is the second-strongest ore in the game, as it has 35 and 40 . The player must spend 200 in order to purchase 20 gold ores from Gander at Rank 18. There are 18 Epic Weapons made of gold.
Crystal[]
Crystal is the strongest ore in the game, as it has 40 and 46 . The player must spend 240 in order to purchase 20 crystal ores from Gander at Rank 25. There are 18 Epic Weapons made of crystal.
