Jellybacks are turtle or snail-like jelly creatures in Papa Louie 2 and Papa Louie 3 that the player can bounce on and reach out-of-reach platforms.

Jellybacks are eight-legged creatures that can be found all across the Land of Munchmore. They are non aggressive and are impervious to attacks thanks in part to their protective gelatinous shell. The Jellyback species can be traced far back to the shores of Gummy Grotto where their ancestors first crawled out of the sea. Customers have learned that a well placed jump on a Jellyback can launch themselves high into the air.

Sliderday Scout Spotlight

This jubilant scout hails from the distant shores of Gummy Grotto. Jellyback is a persistent explorer, and when faced with failure, will bounce right back to try again. [1]

Trivia

Although they cause no harm to the customers passing throughout the level, they are listed as "baddies" in the game.
Because Jellybacks can't be attacked, on the baddies page, instead of how many are killed, it shows how many times the player has bounced on them.
Their aquatic counterparts in Papa Louie 3 are Jellyblurps. Like Jellybacks, they are harmless to touch, but they are more of an obstacle and can bounce a customer into other baddies if he/she is not careful. The Jellyblurps' name appears on the game's help page and isn't listed on the baddies page.
