Joy is a female character who made her first appearance as the female worker in Papa's Pizzeria To Go!. Her alter ego is Ninjoy.

Things were simpler back when the original Papa’s Pizzeria came out. There wasn’t a choice between workers when you started the game, it was only Roy, and he was not pleased. But once Papa's Burgeria came out, we gave players the option to choose either a boy or a girl worker, both of whom were customers from the previous game.
Well with Papa's Pizzeria To Go, we have broken that time-honored tradition by introducing a brand-NEW character from the Flipverse to be the female chef.
Let us introduce you to Delivery Girl... Joy! [2]

Joy is Papa Louie's one and only niece. With his restaurants becoming increasingly popular, Joy decided to return to Papa's Pizzeria to give her little brother a hand. Roy has fond memories of watching his big sister take part in local gymnastic tournaments. Joy even received a full scholarship to Frostfield University for her skills. However, she declined the offer and instead traveled to Sakura Bay, where she worked at random jobs around town for several years before returning home.
Appearance[]
Joy has fair skin, light periwinkle eyeshadow and light brown hair set in pigtails. She wears a blue cap with red front and trims and the Pizzeria logo, a bright red t-shirt with the Pizzeria logo, blue jeans held by a brown belt with a golden yellow buckle, and gray shoes with red laces.

Joy's tan was slightly updated.

Style B[]
Joy's Style B is Ninjoy's Style A. She wears a purple mask over her eyes, a dark purple bodysuit that is covered by a black corset with purple outlines, black gloves, and black shoes with purple laces.
Style H (Halloween)[]
In games where she dresses up for Halloween, Joy dresses up as an Oni. She wears a black helmet with gold stripes and horns, a red mask with black eye holes and long white teeth, a black bodysuit with golden stripes under a red jacket with golden stripes, a red belt with golden stripes, black gloves, red cuffs with golden lining, and black shoes with black soles and red laces.
Christmas Outfit[]
In the 2015 Christmas picture, Joy wears the outfit worn in her Style A, but with a green, fur-lined Santa hat instead of the Pizzeria cap.
Casual Outfit[]
Joy wears blue hair ties, a purple shirt, a gray necklace holding a black rhombus with "NJ" (Ninjoy) written in purple, black bracelets, blue pants held by a black belt, and purple and black checkered shoes with gray soles and blue socks.

This week’s exhibit is a custom kart created for Joy called… The Joyrider. The kart is a purple roadster design with an illuminated delivery sign mounted on the trunk. The Joyrider was lovingly modeled after “The Dough Dasher,” the kart owned by her dearest brother, Roy. [3]

- She is the only character to make her debut in a game as a worker.
- She is also the first character to make her debut in an app game instead of the desktop games.
- She is also the first app debutant to have a Flipdeck.
- She and Ninjoy never appear in the same games, as they are the same person.
- She and Moe are the only customers that can change their names with their Style B. They change theirs to Ninjoy and The Dynamoe, respectively.
- Duke Gotcha can also change his name to Duke Hyde with his Style H in Papa's Mocharia To Go!.
- In Joy's Flipdeck, there's an empty cup of Purple Burple; possibly an easter egg to refer to the fact that Joy and Ninjoy are the same person.
- Starting from Papa's Wingeria To Go!, she appears on the Pizzeria wagon in the parade.
- Her Style B is available when playing as her in Papa's Pizzeria HD.
- While Joy is ordering, if you swap to her Style B, she will appear as Ninjoy, despite her name staying as Joy. This problem also occurs with Moe/The Dynamoe.
- The following stickers are earned when the player serves specific ingredients or specials to Joy:
- In Papa's Scooperia/HD/To Go!, the "Ninjapolitan" sticker is earned when the player serves a Neapolitan to Joy.
