In Papa's Freezeria/HD/To Go!/Deluxe, it is a standard mixable unlocked at the start of the game. With the exception of Papa's Freezeria Deluxe, the "Peanut Buttery" badge is earned when the player serves either 20 or 30 sundaes with Nutty Butter Cups.

In Papa's Cupcakeria/To Go!/HD, it is a standard topping unlocked with Hugo when the player reaches Rank 9. The "Peanut Buttery" badge is earned when the player serves 30 orders with Nutty Butter Cups.

In Papa's Paleteria To Go!, Nutty Butter Cup Drizzle is a holiday-exclusive drizzle topping available during Thanksgiving. It is unlocked with Hugo when the player reaches Rank 33.
