Papa's Burgeria HD is the first HD app in the Papa Louie restaurant time-management game series. The game was announced on April 13, 2012 and officially released on April 26, 2012 for Apple and December 7, 2012 for Android.
Description
Grab your spatula and get ready for the biggest burger-flipping adventure on your favorite tablet! In this brand-new edition of Papa’s Burgeria, you are unwillingly left in charge of Papa Louie’s famous Burgeria. You’ll need to take orders, grill patties, add toppings, and serve the burgers to all of your wacky customers.
This hands-on time-management game gives you control at each step of the burger-building process. You’ll need to multi-task and juggle between each area of the restaurant: Keep an eye out for customers waiting in the lobby, drag and flip burger patties on the grill to cook them just right, and add toppings and sauces to the sandwiches before serving them to your customers!
Keep your customers happy to earn more points and level up! As your level rises, you’ll unlock new toppings in the shop, and new customers will start visiting the Burgeria!
Use your hard-earned tips to buy restaurant upgrades and hats to wear, and you can also decorate your lobby with furniture and posters from the Furniture Shop. You’ll even earn a Pay Day each week, which you can spend on upgrading your Burgeria!
As your serve sandwiches to your customers, you’ll be rewarded with Game Tickets. At the end of each day, the Great Foodini will arrive with his Traveling Mini-Game Show, where you can use your Game Tickets to play a variety of food-themed Mini Games, and win posters and furniture that you can place in your lobby!

Workers
The workers in this game are Marty and Rita. With the exception of the shoes, the default uniform is identical to that of its predecessor and consists of a red and white shirt, black pants, and a black visor. Marty wears a gray belt and black and white shoes, while Rita wears gray shoes with red laces and black soles.
Cutscenes
Introduction
Marty/Rita receives a golden ticket in the mail, with a map, signed by Papa Louie, requesting that he/she "meet here for the prize". Following the directions, Marty/Rita arrives at the Burgeria, with Roy and Papa standing outside. Papa Louie tells Marty/Rita he/she has won the Burgeria, which excites him/her, until Papa shows him/her the uniform, much to his/her dismay.

Trivia
- There was a major bug during the release of iOS 6. If players played the game, most of the time, the game would crash. It has since then been fixed.
- In Papa's Burgeria HD, Marty is in the logo picture while Rita is in the logo of Papa's Burgeria To Go!.
- Some of the hats in the upgrade shop have descriptions from Papa's Pancakeria.
- In the "Choose your Character" screen, Marty and Rita's poses seem to be recycled from Papa's Pancakeria.
- Although they were absent in the original game, both Robby and Allan make their first trip to Papa's Burgeria in this game and both are Closers.
- New ingredients are only unlocked when the rank number is even.
- This is the only HD game to:
- Not have custom workers
- Feature three stations
