Papa's Pastaria is the ninth game in the Papa Louie restaurant time-management game series. The game takes place in Portallini, with the workers being Doan and Utah. Hope, the winner of Kingsley's Customerpalooza 2013, makes her first appearance as a customer in the game. The game was first teased on October 23, 2013, before an official announcement on November 5, 2013. It was officially released on December 9, 2013.

Blog Announcement
Hey Everyone! A few weeks ago, we all got an invitation to the wedding of Edoardo and Olga. This destination wedding takes place in the beautiful town of Portallini, the home town of the Romano Family Quartet. The chapel is reserved, and invitations have been sent. So book your flights and get those hotel rooms reserved, because you wont want to miss this big day!
But wait…. there’s more…… It just so happens that Papa Louie is opening his next restaurant along the sparkling canals of Portallini! So get ready because Papa’s Pastaria is coming soon!!!!!
Portallini is one of the oldest towns around. Many people come from all around to explore the ancient canalways aboard the iconic gondolas that drift along the crystal blue waters.

Workers
The workers in this game are Doan, Utah, and the Custom Worker. The default uniform consists of a white shirt with light green buttons, black pants, a light green sash belt, black shoes with white laces and brown soles, and a light green bow tie.
Cutscenes
Introduction
Little Edoardo asks Olga for her hand in marriage, to which she accepts. Doan/Utah/Custom Worker receives an invitation to their wedding in Portallini. After mailing the RSVP, he/she attempts to use the Travel Trout website to reserve a room in Portallini in the spring, only to find that there are no rooms available. Changing the option to "any season," the site offers one room available at Papa's Pastaria. Happy to find the room available, Doan/Utah/Custom Worker makes his/her choice. Immediately, the doorbell rings, and a package from Travel Trout is left at the doorstep. Upon opening the package, he/she sees that the box contains the Pastaria uniform, an employee manual, and an airline ticket from Burgerburgh to Portallini via Gondol-Air, departing immediately. Doan/Utah/Custom Worker then realizes that he/she has been enlisted to work at the Pastaria, much to his/her dismay.
Ending
Papa Louie officiates the wedding ceremony of Little Edoardo and Olga, with family, friends, and many of Papa's customers in attendance.

- The representative Gameria color of Papa's Pastaria is apple green.
- This is the first Gameria to:
- Have an ending, making a complete storyline.
- Introduce both chefs who did not debut in Papa Louie: When Pizzas Attack! nor Papa's Pizzeria.
- Allow players to mute either the music or the sound.
- However, the toaster in the bread station can still be heard and ads have volume when all sound is muted.
- Feature a tutorial customer that is not the other chef since Papa's Hot Doggeria.
- Have the other chef be absent when a custom server is picked.
- Where the holidays are referenced in the Parade. In Papa's Cupcakeria, only the seasons would be referenced.
- Have Santa visit only during the Christmas and start with a Silver Customer award.
- Have holiday-themed clothing.
- In the intro, it appears that the chef resides in Burgerburgh based on the town of departure mentioned on the plane ticket.
- None of the new holidays in this game have been featured in any other Gamerias, with the exception of its To Go! port.
- Some players found it more challenging to achieve a 100% building score in the game compared to Papa's Cupcakeria due to the sauces and toppings. However, it is still possible, and some have managed to achieve perfect scores.
- Unlike previous Gamerias, it should be noted that Papa's Pastaria doesn't have posters or furniture for all of the holiday toppings and a few other ingredients to boost scores. As a result, players need to put in extra effort when preparing orders during the customer's favorite holiday.
- How the closers dress up during Halloween:

- The rest of the closers, who were also closers for Cupcakeria, retain the same costume as before.
- When Doan/Utah/Custom Worker looks up for the Pastaria on Travel Trout website, they come across a link to the terms and conditions, which potentially explain the requirement to "work" for the Pastaria. However, the character chooses not to click on the link.
- When the server enters the Order Station and activates the doorbell, it will produce a sound resembling a desk bell ringing. However, if a customer enters the station directly, the doorbell will make its familiar sound, which has been its characteristic since it was introduced in Burgeria.
- While waiting in line to relay an order, the server will not engage with interactive furniture such as video games, tropical punch, or bubblegum.
- Only two customers visit the dining room each day: the second customer and the customer visiting before the closer.
- If the restaurant closes before any orders were taken, there will be a line of 3-5 customers. Once the order of first person in the dining room is taken, also the assistant, the assistant will come back again along with the closer. They will be in the same spot while walking for a few seconds.
- Although dining room customers do not utilize interactive furniture, their patience level remains the same.
- This is the only Gameria where the chef is seen receiving the order from the server for dining room customers. Starting in Papa's Donuteria, the server is seen taking the order at the dining table.
- This, Papa's Wingeria HD and Papa's Cupcakeria HD are the only Gamerias where the dining room is unlocked at Rank 2 instead of Rank 4.
- Once Olga and Edoardo's wedding concludes, players can review it by clicking on the film camera icon near the sound buttons while the game is paused.

- All holiday sauces, with the exception of Rico's Chili, have the same jar shape as one of the five standard sauces.
- With the exception of Crushed Croutons, the top and bottom of each holiday shaker resemble those of another standard shaker. However, the holiday shakers may not always share the same top and bottom with the corresponding standard shaker (for example, the Cheddar Cheese shaker have the same top as the Shredded Mozzarella shaker but share the same bottom as the Black Pepper shaker).
- The pattern of holiday ingredients follows this sequence: sauce, pasta, topping, shaker, followed by pasta, sauce, shaker, and topping.
- This is the final Gameria where the holiday ingredients are unlocked in a different pattern, in Papa's Donuteria and onward they will be unlocked with the same pattern.
- St. Paddy's Day, the water in Portallini turns green in color, resembling the tradition of dyeing the Chicago River green on this holiday.

- Foccacia was most likely intended to be unlocked with Maggie, for the following reasons:
- While Foccacia is unlocked with Alberto in Summer Luau, he does not order it at all.
- In Starlight Jubilee, Maggie is unlocked without any ingredients, making her one of the only customers in the game, other than Olga and Papa Louie, to be unlocked with a rank, but without an ingredient.
- The rank the player gets after unlocking Maggie, which is usually named after the ingredient unlocked with the previous rank, is Foccacia Fan.
- On April 24, 2020, Matt confirmed in the Flipline Forum Shoutbox that Focaccia being unlocked with Alberto instead of Maggie was an error.
- In Papa's Pastaria To Go!, this error was solved because it is unlocked at Rank 19 instead of Rank 13, only it is unlocked with Chester instead of Alberto or Maggie.
- This is the final desktop Gameria:
- to have shop items with descriptions.
- where the player has to click the arrow buttons in order to change the chef or server's clothing.
