Spearmint

Spearmints are baddies that made their first appearance in Papa Louie 3: When Sundaes Attack!. They are little mints that shoot arrows at their opponents. Their behavior is reminiscent to that of the Bow Shrooms from Papa Louie 2: When Burgers Attack!. However, rather than shooting their arrows from bows, Spearmints fire arrows from the tops of their heads. They can also appear on walls and ceilings.

Spearmint also appears as a playable scout in Slider Scouts, unlocked when the player reaches Rank 67.

Spearmints grow best in the cold corridors of Mintley Meadows. These bulbous baddies slowly grow along the frosted floors and ceilings of their environment. For defense, they can produce tiny thorned spears that appear at the top of their heads. When a threat is near, Spearmints can launch the spears at dangerously high speeds, traveling long distances in a matter of seconds. Spearmints tend to grow in large groups so they can rhythmically take turns shooting and reloading.

Trivia[]

Its name is based on spearmint, a perennial plant that hails from Europe and Asia. The plant itself gets its name from its characteristic spear-shaped leaves.
