Star Customer Awards are unlockable medals that showcase how well you are doing with a specific customer's orders. There are 3 different types of awards: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
Anytime a customer is given an order that scores 80 or above, they will be given a star of their star meter. If the star meter is filled up all the way, they will gain either a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award, give a bonus tip. Depending on the medal they have, customers will order faster (starting with Taco Mia), along with giving more tips and points per order. Getting a full star meter while having a Gold Star Award will not gain another medal, but it will still give a bonus tip regardless. If the customer is given an order that scores 59 or below, the star meter is reset back to zero, but the Star Customer Award will stay if they have one.

Additionally in the web versions of Pizzeria, Burgeria, Taco Mia, and Freezeria, the player must get a Gold Star Customer Award with every other customer in order to unlock Papa Louie. Starting in Pancakeria onward, Papa Louie is unlocked by reaching a certain rank in-game.

- In newer Gamerias, getting all Gold Star Customer Awards will turn the player's save slot select button gold.
