Papa's Freezeria To Go! is the second To Go! app in the Papa Louie restaurant time-management game series. The game was announced on January 15, 2014 and officially released on February 27, 2014.

Description

Build and serve sundaes on the go with this brand-new version of Papa's Freezeria, with gameplay and controls reimagined for iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android Phones!

You've just started a relaxing summer job at an oceanfront ice cream shop, but things get hectic when all of Papa Louie's customers arrive on the island! You'll need to whip up delicious Freezer sundaes by pouring ice cream, adding mixables and syrups, blending sundaes, adding whipped cream and toppings, and don't forget the cherry on top for a perfect summertime treat!

You'll need to multitask between each area of the restaurant, with new controls designed to work just right in the palm of your hand. Head to the Order Station to watch for customers waiting in the lobby. Switch to the Build Station to combine ice cream and mixables for each sundae. Jump to the Mix Station to mix sundaes until they're blended just right. Hop to the Top Station to pour whipped cream and toppings before serving the sundae to your picky customers. Each Station is a hands-on experience, where you'll need to drag, swipe, and tap your way through the sundae-building process.

Keep your customers happy to earn points and level up. As your level rises, you'll unlock new toppings for the shop, and new customers will start to visit the Freezeria! A well-crafted sundae also earns you tips, which you can spend on upgrades and decorations for the lobby!

NEW INGREDIENTS!!!!!

We've added a ton of new ingredients that can't be found in the classic or HD versions of the game. Try a sundae with our new Gummy Worms on top, or add some S'mores to your sundae for a taste of that classic campfire treat. We've also added lots of new syrup toppings, whipped cream flavors, and other toppings that you'll unlock as you play the game. There's over 70 unique ingredients for you to discover!

Workers

The workers in this game are Alberto and Penny. The default uniform is identical to that of its predec essors and consists of a violet and white striped shirt with a red collar, dark red pants, and white laced shoes with black laces and soles.

Cutscenes

Introduction

Alberto/Penny is reading the training manual for his/her new job at Papa's Freezeria, Papa Louie's new restaurant on Calypso Island. The manual indicates "Stress-Free Work" with "Great Wages & Lots of Tips". Now wearing the official uniform, Papa Louie gives him/her a tour of his new restaurant. Papa's watch dings and he and leaves the Freezeria, immediately after which Alberto/Penny notices what appears to be a ship in the distance. Upon taking a closer look, he/she sees that the S.S. Louie is heading towards the dock. Upon arrival, all of Papa Louie's customers exit the ship, and head over to the Freezeria, much to Alberto/Penny's dismay.

On November 20, 2014, Flipline Studios announced an update to Papa's Freezeria To Go!, adding the Papa's Donuteria locals to the game. iPod Touch and iPhone users could download the update immediately, while Android users had to wait "a few days." [8] The new customers begin to appear after the player unlocks Sue at Rank 30.

Trivia

This is the only app where new customers were introduced in an update.
In the main menu of the game, as seen in the picture, there are only 2 surfboards instead of the original 3 (which was used as an easter egg in Papa's Freezeria).
In the topping station, the whipped creams appear first. Once done with the creams, the syrups and smaller toppings appear. You can switch back and forth from the smaller toppings and larger ones.
The weekly pay rises $2.50 instead of $5.00, and the badges are worth much less than in other Gamerias.
Cotton Puffs and Rainbow Sherbet Syrup are not featured in this version of Papa's Freezeria, they're instead "replaced" by Caramel Apple and Tutti Frutti syrup respectively.
While there are 8 slots for whipped creams, there are only 5 of them that are available. So when a player unlocks all 5 whipped creams there will be 3 empty slots.
This version of Papa's Freezeria has 27 more ingredients than the HD version or has 47 more ingredients than the desktop version.
There are 972 possible cup size/mixable/syrup combinations.
On March 2, 2014, Flipline Studios mentioned that Papa's Freezeria To Go! reached the top 10 apps in the iTunes store. [9]
Each Whipped Cream is indicated by a letter:
- W for Whipped Cream.
- C for Chocolate Mousse.
- S for Strawberry Fluff.
- L for Lemon Chiffon.
- M for Maui Meringue.
On December 3, 2021, Apple named Papa's Freezeria To Go! among the top games for 2021 at #15.
