I'm not sure how often or if at all you're on Discord, but with everyone starting to post spoilers to the game, we're going to have a situation again where all of the information goes out live BEFORE the game officially does so. I've heard complaints elsewhere that it wasn't fair that we were adding this info to the site before many people had a chance to even play the game.
So I rolled back the Sushiria to Go page to the last edit from 04/20/2020 and protected it so that only staff could edit it until tomorrow. I saw that you reversed my edit. I rolled it back. We're going to try (emphasis on "try") to be spoiler free for this game to see if we can be fair and have the page edited as people progress in the game, not because they data-mined the information.
If you're going to edit the page, that's fine, just as long as you're playing through the game.
Bakeria To Go was released day before and yet it wasn't any problem to edit that day. So I don't think this is the same problem with Sushiria To Go. I am playing through the game and I'm still at day 2 - so the changes I made should be there.
And then people figured out how to data-mine the game and added tons of information to the page before people had a chance to play through it properly. That's how people knew about Kaleb right away and that he was introduced way late in the game. Among other things.
It wouldn't be so bad to edit the page while playing through it, but because of people adding spoilers that shouldn't (and it's getting to be a mess in Discord land with people showing off what they've found in the game files), even they are feeling guilty about the idea of adding what they've found into the wiki.
Don't reverse my rollback because all you're doing is adding the spoiler information BACK ONTO THE PAGE. Go ahead and add whatever you need to now from there.
Rune, you're free to add information you come across while playing the game. The only reason Bdj undid your edit was because there was lots of datamined content, and your edits were removed in the process.
The only reason people datamine is so they can quickly get all the information about the game. However, datamined information shouldn't be added here because it's not fair to those who are playing the game properly.
That's why we're locking the game from everyone but Staff. Because none of us are data-mining. And I know you're not either.
Your changes look to be back. Keep playing the game (take breaks...I don't want you worn out too quickly). This was just a preventative measure. I do apologize for my rash decision making here, especially not realizing that it was affecting your work.
